Joachim de PosadaOur meeting this month is about the business of being a professional speaker, trainer or consultant. Our featured professional speaker and author is Joachim de Posada. Joachim’s session will focus on how to determine if you have the psychological profile of a speaker and if you don’t-what to do about it! He will also speak about what successful people are willing to do while unsuccessful people are not willing to do. Joachim is both a motivational speaker and international business expert. He is fluent in Spanish as well as English and is ranked among the top 10 Hispanic motivational speakers in the world. He also has a great book called Don’t Eat the Marshmallow Yet! The Secret to Sweet Success in Work and Life. The profession of a professional speaker can be very trying and Joachim really tells it like it is-this promises to be a fabulous session!

We are also pleased to welcome Denver, Colorado’s own, Jay Arthur. Jay will speak on Jay arthur“The Fear of Feeing!” When a prospective client asks: “What’s your fee?” do you feel anxious, fearful, guilty or even ashamed? Jay will walk us through how to conquer this fear and feel comfortable charging our clients fees that we and the client can live with-Fortunately, this is an area where I’ve never been bashful :-) Jay will make you just as comfortable! Jay is also a master practitioner of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) the science of how we run our minds through pictures, sounds and feelings. He’s the author of Debug Your Mental Software and co-author of Your Seventh Sense-How to think like a comedian.

Our monthly meeting is February 8th, 2008 from 9 am to 1 pm. If you are a professional speaker, trainer or consultant you will find this meeting invaluable. NSA Colorado is proud to welcome these fabulous speakers!
